This paper presents a jamming method based on shift-frequency theory against linear frequency modulation (LFM) radar. The basic idea is first storing the phase of hostile radar signal and then transmitting the modulated jamming signal. According to the structure of digital radio frequency memory (DRFM), the phase of radar signal is acquired by I channel and Q channel samples. Then a time-variable phase is added to the radar signal phase to obtain this jamming signal. According to the characteristic of matched filter, the added phase will cause a hysteresis or precede false target. Based on this single false target, the implementation of multiple false target jamming method based on FIFO is introduced. And the relationship between jamming parameters and jamming effect is analyzed. Both simulation results and circuit implementation validate the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed idea.
