摘要

There are large numbers of component parts of equipment, application of PHM system cannot cover it universally and it is unnecessary, for improve the application efficiency of PHM system of equipment, the important problem overall design of PHM system of equipment should be faced is to determine the scope of its application. This paper describes meaning of the application scope of PHM system from two aspects of application object and failure mode. Secondly, it puts forward a method to determine the application object of PHM system of equipment from the aspects of mission significance (including training mission, combat mission and special mission), fault frequency (list failure statistics law of four typical equipment) and economy; it constructed failure mode determination method by using the improved FMECA method.
