摘要

This paper deals with muscles behavior analysis during pre-motor activity and during transition step from preparation to effective muscle activity. It aims evaluating gender differences and determining the relationship between pre-motor activity and transition step. Three features are used, they are Relative Power RP and Preparation Duration PD for pre-motor activity and Transition Slope TS for transition step. Statistical results using boxplots showed that women exhibit longer preparation and a higher relative power than men during pre-motor activity. During transition step, men react faster than women to begin the contraction even despite the low importance of pre-motor activity. A relationship between pre-motor activity and transition step was found for both genders When a classification into small/large preparation is given.
