When customers visit a book store and they find a book that get their interest, they must want to know the content of the book. They do that because they need to know if the book contain the needs information or not. But in reality, almost all of the book that saled on the book store are sealed. This condition usually make customers cancel their payment for the book. Even if there are any information at the end of the cover, sometimes it isn't enough for customers. This problem can be solved by a mobile application that can give the detail information of the book by capture the cover from their Android Smartphone camera. This application build with an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology inside. A technology that can change text contain on a picture into an editable text. The system will separate every word from the editable text and compare it with every single word in the title field on database. In the end of the process, system will put five books title to the user as the result of matching process. With this application, customers can know the book detail information easily and will never worry about the book that they pay for.
