摘要

Data transfer from the remote IoT sensors to the servers for further processing and usage has been found to be costly in terms of the bandwidth utilization of the network, the constraint of real time data transfer, the computational complexity involved and the battery life of the sensor. If the computation complexity at the sensor is reduced to minimize the battery usage, the quantum of data that is to be transferred to the server increases which in turn drains out the battery. In this paper, a method has been suggested for the optimization of the processing at the sensor end with reduction in the quantum of the data transfer over the network. The novel concept of differential feedback of information is utilized in the implementation.
