Cellular networks are facing a constant growth of traffic due to an increasing number of services requiring high throughputs. The deployment of Heterogeneous Networks (HetNets) is one of the proposed solutions to face this increasing wireless data demand. This paper tackles the capacity optimization problem and power management in a HetNets environment while considering a Reverse Time Division Duplexing (RTDD) scheme. To solve this issue, the Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) of the users belonging to the macro Base Station and that of the small cells in its vicinity is derived. Then, a joint closed-form expression of the capacity of both systems is provided and it is shown to have a concave convex behaviour in terms of the power ratio. Accordingly, Convex Concave Procedure (CCCP) will be introduced to find an optimal transmitted power ratio which maximizes the overall capacity.
