Today people's average life expectancy has improved significantly and it's increasingly common in elderly people with dementia. The severity of dementia might influence patients' relationships and abilities to work. In this study, based on the NHIRD of Taiwan, 29 different diseases were chosen to validate their co-morbid relationships with dementia respectively. Moreover, age-, gender-, and dementia medicine stratification studies have validated any differences in these co-morbidities. The mined information not only help understand the physiological and pathological nature of dementia, but also assist physicians in prognostic risk assessments and developing the best treatment method.
