Power quality of LED lamps

The search for more efficient equipment led to the development of LED lighting systems and the expectation is that this technology dominates the market in a few years. The large amount of LED lamps that began to enter in the domestic market has meant to a need for more regulation to avoid low quality products. So did the Ordinance No. 144 of Inmetro (National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology) which established the compulsory certification of LED bulbs sold in Brazil. This article presents an analysis of some LED lamps available on the market in order to verify if they have already reached the minimum specifications required by current regulations.
