摘要

With the rapid growth in the power requirement, the use of renewable resources is very essential to meet consumer power demand and environmental issues. Integration of the fuel cell power system with AC distribution grid using multilevel cascade H bridge inverter for improving the power quality has been analyzed and results presented in this paper. A 13 level cascade H-bridge inverter with minimum number of switches has been designed. The inverter pulses are generated with respect to common connection point Busbar voltage for synchronizing Fuel cell bus to AC grid bus Voltage. The main aim of this paper is to reduce the total harmonic distortions and improve the power quality when Fuel cell power is integrated with AC grid. The above proposed model has been analyzed under various operating conditions and the performance of the model is evaluated using MATLAB SIMULINK software. The Simulink results are evaluated and the effectiveness of the given system established.
