A novel Virtual Measurement System (VMS) of ARINC429 bus signal electrical parameter is designed to improve test accuracy and maintenance efficiency of avionics devices. This software of the VMS is implemented based on Labwindows/CVI. The hardware of the VMS is constructed by using data acquisition card to test voltage parameters and by using microcontroller and voltage comparators to test time parameters. A communication radio panel is used to check ARINC 429 bus signal electrical parameters by using the VMS and the oscilloscope Rigol DS5102M. The Mean Square Error (MSE) of voltage parameters measured by the VMS is 0.002V, and that measured by the oscilloscope is 0.155V. And the MSE of time parameters measured by the VMS is 0.06tμs, and that measured by the oscilloscope is 0.09μs. The results show that the VMS has higher test accuracy in voltage and time parameter measurement than those of the oscilloscope.
