摘要

A method named space carving was proposed which is for the calculation of object's surface point-cloud based on its images. The process of the algorithm based on the space carving theory was developed by C++ and the point-cloud was got for reconstructing object's 3D model in the end. Final, the method of this paper was proved, it have not any limit with the size of the object, and only one digital camera and rotating stage is needed in the whole process, so compare with the traditional modeling system, it greatly reduces the cost of the system.
