摘要

Low voltage series arc fault is one of the main reasons caused the accident of electrical fire,so it is necessary to detect and identify the fault arc.The low voltage series arc fault is researched in this paper,current waves of some typical electric equipment under arc fault and normal operation are measured,and DFT transform of current waveforms are done by Matlab software,so that an identification method of low-voltage series arc fault based on the harmonic component relative change coefficient is presented in this paper.The simulation results show that this method can effectively identify whether the arc fault occur.
