摘要

The convergence characteristics of a proposed iterative method for computing EM wave scattering from three-dimensional (3D) perfectly conducting objects are investigated and compared to those of conventional iterative schemes. The Buffered Block Forward Backward Method (BBFM) and an improved version is shown to be better than the Generalized Minimal Residual Method (GMRES) and the Biconjugate Gradient Stabilized Method (BiCGSTAB) in numerical tests.
