摘要

Debye series for plane-wave scattering by a coated microbubble is derived. Being a rigorous solution of Maxwell equations, Debye series expands the Mie scattering coefficient into an infinity series, and clarifies the physical origin of scattering. The results for various pmax are computed and compared. The contributions of various scattering processes to far-field scattered intensity are isolated from total scattered intensity. The effect of coating including thickness and refractive index to far-field scattered intensity is discussed.
