摘要

Radio over fibre (RoF) system and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) have attracted much interest for increasing the capacity and coverage area for future broadband wireless millimetre waves (mm-waves) at 60GHz [1, 2]. Fast OFDM (F-OFDM), another promising multicarrier scheme, reduces the subcarrier spacing to half of symbol rate per subcarrier [3]. When compared to the conventional OFDM, this format exhibits greatly improved performance in frequency offset compensation in coherent detection, and better tolerance to phase noise in self-coherent detection.
