Preparation of highly luminescent CdSe quantum dots by reverse micelles

Highly luminescent CdSe quantum dots (QDs) were prepared by AOT microemulsion method The optimal reaction time for CdSe synthesis was 2h and the highest PL efficiency was obtained when W was 5 and the ratio of Cd/Se was 2. Under these conditions, the PL efficiency of 30% could be obtained.
