MEETING THE CHALLENGE OF INTEGRATING DECENTRALIZED GENERATION Due to an increasing number of environmental,economic,financial and statutory elements,power supply from decentralized sources have been developing rapidly over the past few years.These types of energy (especially wind-power and photovoltaics) can be characterized as intermittent and unstable.They therefore are highly difficult or even impossible to forecast.Their increase has,as a consequence,major impacts on the balance of the electricity grid.
