The dissertation reaches the key management mechanism for wireless sensor networks, Key management can be divided into two categories: one is symmetric key management such as the KDC mechanism and random key pre-distribution mechanism, another is asymmetric key management mechanism such as the elliptic curve encryption algorithm. This paper presents a hybrid key management mechanism with double cluster heads based on the advantages and disadvantages of the two managements: a hybrid key management scheme based on the clustering structure, using asymmetric keys to aid in the distribution of symmetric key. This program sets up a spare cluster head within the cluster. Responsible for the safety of the nodes in the cluster.
