摘要

The reason why university teachers loyal to the organization, stay in it and work hard have a wide range of psychological motivation, which is known as organizational commitment. Through investigation of 430 teachers from 18 universities in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei province, we found that the organizational commitment of university teachers included four dimensions as ideal commitment, affective commitment, normative commitment and continuance commitment. Moreover, the professional title, academic qualification, graduate college and the children status was found to have significant influence on organizational commitment. Finally, we discussed the empirical result and gave some suggestions to the managers. The research result will establish the foundation of deep research for university teachers' organizational commitment and provide reference to university managers in personnel decision making.
