Determination of control structure of PMSG wind turbine generator by calculus of variations

For the purpose of larger penetration of wind power generation in power grid, its appropriate control is important. Even in PMSG type, which is now believed to be the strongest in its control ability, simultaneous realization of perfect smoothing and maximization of its output is difficult. This implies necessity of implementing a sophisticated control method.
