摘要

The calculation of cutting track is one of the important studies in NC simulation system, which can influence the display speed directly. An algorithm, researched and realized the calculation of the sculptured surface and the cutting for different types of cutters, is delivered. The cutting track is separated into 3 parts:“starting cut”, “middle sculptured surface” and “end cut”, calculated the 3 parts separately, which deduced the calculation and increased the display speed, in this algorithm. When the algorithm is put into use in NC simulation system, the display speed is increased from (18.376±0.10)f/s to (107. 219±1.00)f/s.
