The paper introduces a design proposal of an electro-hydraulic servo valve controller based on C8051F060 SOC, and with the complicated hydraulic control system of motion simulator as the controlled object, makes a study of the threats to system safety under the circumstances of system response delay, displacement signal failure, current impact and accident disturbance so as to suggest a hardware functional block diagram, a software flow chart, and a practical PID control algorithm. Besides, the paper, with the help of the controller, makes a practical test of the functions of the displacement response curve of the hydraulic cylinder, self-diagnosis and safety interlock
