This paper presents a single chip image processor for various in-car equipments such as car navigation system, rear seat entertainment and rear camera display. There are four IPs*1 to enhance image quality on the chip for the various in-car display products. The chip has a camera image compensation IP (four times more high-sensitivity, 50% noise reduction, distortion correction of 190-degree input field angle), a graphics rendering IP(draws 640Mpix/s), a high-quality image processing IP(super-resolution, NCM*2, dynamic gamma), an environment adaptation IP(brightness sensitivity, backlight control). We also developed an arbitrary frequency clock generation IP to generate frequency clock from 4.6 MHz to 162MHz on a small scale circuit. It is suitable for display of any format from QVGA to WXGA. In addition input-output video resolution, format, number of channel, external VRAM memory type and CPU interface are set flexibly depending on in-car equipment. The chip fabricated with 65nm 8-metal CMOS technology. Number of gates is 4.8Mgate and 4.1Mbit memory. Maximum operation frequency is 648MHz. Power consumption is 1.6W.
