摘要

In this paper, based on the elastic-plastic finite element theory, the finite element model of expansion process for Solid Expandable Tubular is established, the axial length shrinkage, expansion force, residual stress and collapse strength after expansion are studied. According to the finite element simulaition results and practical experience, the optimum velocity of expansion cone is from 6 m/min to 9 m/min, which provides a theoretical basis and reference for the design of Solid Expandable Tubular.
