Experimental Testing of Oil-Flooded Hermetic Scroll Compressor

摘要

In this work, a residential air conditioning compressor designed for vapor injection has been modified in order torninject large quantities of oil into the working chamber in order to approach an isothermal compression process. Forrna range of different oil injection scenarios, the result is a monotonic decrease in compressor discharge temperaturernas the oil injection rate is increased. In addition, the pumped refrigerant mass flow rate tends to increase as the oilrninjection rate is increased.
