In this paper, a novel robust image watermarking scheme for color images is proposed. Firstly, Harris detector is utilized to extracted feature points in the YCbCr color space, and then the local feature regions are ascertained according to the positions of feature points. Finally, several copies of the readable watermark with size of 256-bits are embedded into the non overlapped local feature regions by quantizing the DWT coefficients. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is not only invisible and robust against common signals processing such as median filtering, sharpening, noise adding, and JPEG compression, but also partly robust against the geometric attacks such as row or column removal, shearing, and local random bend.
