摘要

With the rapid development of mobile communication technologies, Location-Based Services LBS becomes the one of the main applications. In order to support LBS, the paper studies how to efficiently store and index mobile objects and time information, presents one kind of location encoding algorithm based on region partition. According to region partition and road information, the algorithm encodes mobile objects into binary strings. The experiment shows that the algorithm is effective and applicable.
