Oxidation Activities of PAN Hollow Fiber

Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) hollow fibers were pretreated with ammonium dibasic phosphate, oxidized in air at different temperature to get PAN-based oxidation hollow fibers. The effects of the oxidation temperature on the thermal activity of PAN hollow fiber were studied by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared (FIR) spectrum and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The results demonstrate that the best Aromatic Index is got when oxidation temperature is 230℃.
