摘要

The Precision of Precipitable Water Vapor(PWV) inversed by GPS data already achieved l-2mm, which may be used as an examination on precision of the PWV acquired by other methods. In this article, the relationship between PWV and the water vapor pressure are researched by the data of GPS stations in the Antarctic. The quadratic curve fitting model can be used to rapidly gain the PWV by the data of water vapor pressure on the local area without GPS observing station, which scope of application has been decided. Finally, the method of rapidly acquiring PWV has been confirmed to be reliable through the example. Not only did provide the new data sources for fastly gaining weather forecast accuratly on the local region, but also did provide the basis for the decision of density on networks on GPS meteorology monitoring.
