A STUDY ON COLOR FEATURE EXTRACTING METHODS

With the rapid development of multimedia and lntemet technology,researchers are given more challenges to store and retrieve the images more effectively.More and more attention has been paid to Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR),which has developed quickly in recent years.The extraction of color features is studied in this paper. We put forward a hybrid measurement method based on color histogram,in which accumulative histogram is used to obtain the color information of the total image.In this paper,sub-block color squares are used to obtain the space information, and grey histogram is used to reduce the retrieval influence caused by the change of thickness and contrast.
