In order to reveal the mechanical behavior of steel reinforced concrete cross -shaped column, 4 specimens were designed for low cyclic reversed loading test, the specimens steel layouts include T-shaped steel truss and channel steel truss steel. Experimental parameters are loading direction, steel layout fashion, axial compressive ratio and shear span ratio. The failure patterns, mechanical behaviors, loading bearing capacity, loading-displacement hysteretic curves & skeleton curves were obtained from the test. And the failure characteristics were analyzed. Based on the experiment, the calculation formula of crack loading and ultimate bearing capacity were derived, the calculating results are in good agreement with test.
