Mashup—the Combination of Sci-tech Novelty Search and Corporation Competitive Intelligence System

Competitive intelligence is extremely important to the survival and development of corporations. However, at present, Corporation Competitive Intelligence System (CIS) still cannot bring its due role into full play. This paper analyzes the current problems in CIS and the intelligence advantages of Sci-tech novelty search in personnel, technique and information resources. Additionally, it demonstrates the important function and far-reaching influence of Mashup. As a result, Sci-tech novelty search organizations should take the initiative to contact corporations, cooperate with corporations, and actively develop competitive intelligence and counseling service, in order to set up the Corporation's Competitive Intelligence System in the mode of Mashup.
