I. IntroductionPhysicochemical properties of comb-like copolymer surfactant in aqueous solution have attracted attention. Two main synthetic routes have been frequently used for preparing comb-like MPEG graft copolymer surfactants. The synthesis of polymeric precursors followed by PEG conjugation via polymeric analogous reaction usually requires the incorporation of comonomers containing reactive functional groups for subsequent MPEG conjuation[1]. The second synthetic route employed copolymerization of vinyl monomers with MPEG macromonomers[2].
