摘要

A new type of cascaded multilevel inverter with single DC sourcernpresents particular advantages in high power quality and high reliabilityrnmotor drive applications, and therefore suitable for Navy ship propulsionrnsystems. Control of the dynamics of this type of inverter is importantrnsince the charge/discharge state of the capacitors and the modulationrnindex vary with time. This paper presents an algorithm for the dynamicrncontrol of this inverter topology. In order to analyze and verify thernproposed control algorithm, PSIM is integrated withrnMATLAB/Simulink to formulate a detail system simulation platform.rnSimulation results are presented to verify the proposed method.
