The epoxy matrix's which TDE-85 modified E-51 viscosity less 1000mPa.s in 25°C, and its mechanics have been studied. The results of tensile strength, bending strength, shearing strength and modulus indicate the matrix has good property.DMA and SEM are utilized, the analyses showed it has good consistent quality of compound resins (TDE-85 and E-51). Its Tg is 172°C, E' is 3.2GPa in 22°C, 2.95GPa in 71°C, 2.5GPa in 121 °C. The bending strength of EW-200 buildup epoxy resin is 649.01MPa in room temperature,616.32MPa in -30°C/12h and 646.12MPa in 65°C/12h; its shearing strength is 53.60MPa in 25°C, 57.2MPa in -30°C/12h and 50.2MPa in 65°C/12h. The scanning electro photomicrograph showed that the microstructure was homogeneous, the wetting power of the resin matrix was good, and the type of failure breaking was a tough fracture.
