A series of polyurethane/epoxy resin IPNs based on the reaction of-NCO in polyurethane with -OH in epoxy (E-51) were prepared. TGA was used to characterize the thermal property of completely cured IPNs. The phase separation behavior of IPN was investigated by TEM. And the tensile strength and rigidity also were tested. The results showed that the thermal property of polyurethane modified by epoxy had a great improvement than of that of unmodified polyurethane. And the mechanical behavior also was increased. Lastly, organic nanoco-montmorillonite was added to PU/EP IPN, its properties had a further improvement.
