Many countries, recently, have imposed and some about to impose regulations limiting the emission of formaldehyde and TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) from building materials, furniture, laminate flooring and so on.Formaldehyde and TVOC emission from wood-base panel can be reduced during manufacturing product by adding argo-waste material, rice husk. It is a necessary to recycle argo-waste that could be used for environment. We investigated to the reduction of formaldehyde and TVOC emission from particleboard containing rice husk using 20L small chamber, FLEC and Desiccator.
