Study and DSP Implementation of RPE-LPT Coding Algorithm for Voice Information

摘要

According to the GSM standard, this paper researches the RPE-LTP algorithm which has excellent characteristic for digital voice compress deeply in the GSM system, and studies and analyses the working principle of the RPE-LTP encoder carefully. After describing every part of the RPE-LTP coder's function, an idiographic algorithm is designed and implemented in the hardware testing system which is build use TMS320VC5409 DSP and AT91M63200 MCU. After testing the coding algorithm on the hardware, the satisfying results are obtained.
