Lessons Learned From Development and Installation of Injection Single Hybrid Risers -Application to Production, Test Pipe-in-Pipe SHRs

Following the successful installation of a first set of SinglernHybrid Risers (SHRs) in a West of Africa oil field, this paperrnaddresses the main lessons learned from the first set and howrnthese were implemented into the design, fabrication,rninstallation of a second set of risers to be installed in a newrnfield by mid 2005. It also addresses the necessaryrnmodifications incorporated into several risers for productionrnservice applications while the first set of risers was developedrnspecificly for gas/water injection purposes. The productionrnservice risers are denoted Pipe-in-Pipe SHRs (PIP-SHRs).
