摘要

In axial cyclone tangential velocity is imparted to the fluid with the help of angular vanes of swirlrngenerator installed at the entrance of the cyclone. The tangential velocity is measured by indigenouslyrndeveloped tangential velocity meter. The reliability of developed tangential velocity measuring instrumentrnis compared with theoretically calculated tangential velocity using equations from literature. The effect ofrnvane angles of 20 °, 28 °, 32 °, 45 °, 60 °, 70 ° of swirl generator and linear velocity on tangential velocity inrnaxial cyclone is studied.
