摘要

A novel channel estimation algorithm with PN sequence employed in TD-SCDMA systems is presented. At the transmitter, training sequence is designed with PN sequence as described in 3GPP specifications and at the receiver the proposed algorithm is employed to estimate the channel responses. The algorithm makes use of the correlation property of PN sequence to maximize the estimation gain. Thanks to the characteristic of PN sequence, the algorithm considerably decreases the computational load with quality. The performance and computation are analyzed compared with those of traditional algorithm. The simulation results compare the performance of two estimation algorithms.
