Research on Adaptive Smart Antenna Algorithm to In -crease the Performance of CDMA System

Smart antenna technology in the wireless CDMA communication system can reduce the co-channel interference, improve voice qulitity of mobile communication, and increase the number of users. This paper introduces the realization of smart antenna in the 3rd generation mobile communication system, and mainly discusses the application based on the Phase-only adaptive beam-form algorithm.
