The termooxidation of mixtures of a coal tar pitch and apetroleum heavy residue

Primary homogeneous mixtures were prepared from the coal tar pitch and the petroleum bitumen, weight content ofrnthe bitumen in those mixtures was 7.5wt.%, 15wt.%, 25wt.%. These primary mixtures, the coal tar pitch and the bitumenrnwere air-blown at 275°? . All of these materials and air-blown products were characterized by Mettler’s softening point,rnsolubility in quinoline and toluene, coke yield, elemental analysis.rnThe bitumen addition promote oxidative polymerization of a coal tar pitch. The intensity of changes of the pitch’srnproperties by an air-blowing are depend of ratio coal tar pitch : petroleum bitumen.
