Slope Disaster in Open-pit of Da-ye Iron Mine and the Multi Environmental Treatment

The discarded open-pit left after mining becomes a more and more serious environmental geological problem. Meanwhile, our cities are surrounded by solid wastes discarded by ourselves, which seriously polluted our environment, hindered the continuous development of our society, and the harmful for our health. A multi environmental treatment method is proposed in present paper. As an example, the slope disaster of Da-ye iron mine open-pit is surveyed, and the mode that utilizes solid wastes of Wuhan and its neighboring counties to fill the open-pit for a multi environmental treatment is discussed.
