QFD-Based Technology Roadmapping: An Ordered Method for Planning Development Resource

In modern lean industrial organizations, limited development resources demand an exclusive focus on prime-path technologies. However, prediction of the technologies to be selected for this application of resource is difficult because of the rapidly changing nature of drivers for future markets. QFD-based technology roadmapping is a process by which a formalized methodology is used to collate the technical, legislative, and market forces and evaluate their influences to more robustly select development paths for future product.
