The Adaptive Algorithms of the Smart Antenna System in 3G Wireless Communication Systems

In CDMA system, the smart antenna system is mainly applied to the BS. The smart antenna can adjust the direction pattern adaptively and reduce the interference signals using some adaptive interference nulling algorithms, and thus enhancing the performance of the communication systems. The article provides a description and analysis of some basic adaptive algorithms and their modifications. Their applications in CDMA system are presented.
