In this paper, the loop-tree basis, which is designed for low-frequency problems, is applied to analyze the conical miniature antenna. Lumped load and lossy conductors are included in the full-wave analysis. Because the loop-tree basis performs the quasi-Hehnholtz-decomposition at very low frequencies, compared with the high frequency approach, which does not give accurate results when the mesh size is small in terms of the wavelength, this approach works down to very low frequencies.
