The paper describes an analytical call level model of a homogeneous multiservice GSM/GPRS network. A new admission policy is introduced, that is simple enough to be implemented and allows to influence individually the blocking probabilities of new and handover calls of different services, while maintaining a high utilization of the system resources. One cell of the network is modeled as a multi-dimensional Markov chain. Using the steady state probabilities of the Markov chain, performance measures like new and handover call blocking probabilities, system utilization and mean data rates of the services are expressed. Numerical results show, that the admission policy performs very well in all traffic conditions.
