Biconical Antennas With Elliptic Cross Sections

摘要

The methods of coordinate transformation and conformal mapping are applied to stduy the problem of radiation from a bi-conical antenna wit eleiptic cross section. The infinite elliptic cone geometry can be transformed into the two-dimensional plane under the asumption of pure TEM spherical waves. The closed-form solutions for the characteristic parameters are obtained.
