Regional Inter-city Rail Network Accessibility Based on Geographic Information System

摘要

By applying advanced Geographic Information System technology to study the accessibility of regional inter-city rail network, convenient degree of connection between the cities in the region can be evaluated. The paper first analyzes the concept of the accessibility for regional inter-city rail network and the measurement methods of accessibility, and then introduces the evaluation indexes and methods of accessibility for regional inter-city rail network. Finally takes the rail network accessibility of Pearl River Delta as an example, verifies the effectiveness of the theory and the practicality of the method, which can be used as a quantitative estimating method and the basis for planning, construction and evaluation of the regional rail network.
